From The Biz

Following the The Biz 2011 production of West Side Story ,the Summer School Production for 2012! is the musical Footloose.

The intensive two week course will be held 20th August-1st September 2012, rehearsing in Woking, culminating in a fully staged performance of FOOTLOOSE at The RHODA MCGAW Theatre. Footloose will feature all the energetic dance routines and musical arrangements including Holding Out For A Hero, Almost Paradise, Let’s Hear It For The Boy, and of course the title track, Footloose.

This is your chance to be part of this exciting new production. The doors are opening this summer for new members aged 8-23 years who have an interest in singing, dancing and drama and can commit to 2 weeks of rehearsals 20th August-1st September 2012, leading to a full scale production at The Rhoda Mcgaw Theatre

‘The aim of the Summer School and Youth Theatre is not only to develop youngsters’ dramatic skills and knowledge but also life skills and confidence. Our summer workshops are lots of fun and we are once again raising money for the Children’s Hospice charity SHOOTINGSTAR CHASE, so not only will they be putting a show together under the guidance of West End professionals but they will also be raising money for a worthwhile cause! What a fantastic way to keep busy over the summer holidays’ With branches in Woking and Surrey, The Biz has now raised over £23,000 for local charities.
