Andy Taylor of Goldsworth Park needs sponsers for 950 miles in 7 days bike ride

Andy Taylor from Goldsworth Park and next month he will be cycling for charity. He will be cycling from Lands End to John O Groats for charity with 5 of his friends - approximately 950 miles in 7 days…. an average of 130 miles per day.

All the guys taking part are 27 or 28 years old and are all novice cyclists with no cycling experience so it’s a mental and physical challenge that they are taking upon them especially as they have also taken the decision to not have a support car follow them on route. They will be doing it alone.

It will be in aid of Round Table Children's Wish; a small charity who grant wishes for children with life-threatening and terminal illnesses.

You can sponser Andy on http://www.justgiving.co.uk/950miles7days

Coffee Shop Service is friendly and inspiring

Friendly and inspiring: that’s the Coffee Shop Service at St Andrew’s. Held monthly in the evenings in the St Andrew’s church Coffee Shop, it’s an informal mixture of Christian discussion and worship for all ages..

All are very welcome – just turn up at St Andrew’s for a friendly welcome, great coffee and a thoughtful, interesting (and perhaps rousing) time.St Andrew’s is the parish church for Goldsworth Park, situated between the health centre and shops at Goldsworth Park Centre.
